What a beautiful day it has been today, lovely sunshine and all the family home for the weekend, and I feel very rough. Its just my luck, I saw my consultant in February and his letter arrived this morning saying how he was pleased to note that my RA was in remission. He has to be joking, my foot ultra sound showed thickening of the nerve endings on one foot and fluid on the other. My writst hurt as do every joint in my fingers, elbows, knees and feet. To top it all I now have a streaming cold and what feels like a chest infection, so while everyone is outside having a drink and a barbeque, I am in bed feeling rough. Just my luck eh.

Sad Oh! poor you Louise. This horrible illness controls us fully doesn't it. What a shame your weekend has been spoiled. I hope you are feeling much better tomorrow and can enjoy the beautiful weather and your guests (but I forgot we can't sit in the sun for long either can we) better sit in the shade instead. Joking apart, I really hope the evil one has moved on by morning.

Hi Louise
Typical isnt it can never plan anything with this horrible disease! I think its best if you ring your rheumy nurse to ask about enbrel before taking it. Hope you feel better soon.
love Ceri x
